About the event

It's everyone's favorite time of year! The Bulk Pickup Schedule is confirmed for 2026. The following table outlines the dates for pick up by Township Section. All acceptable materials must be placed at the curb before 7 am on the first cleanup scheduled day. The contractor will cover each street only once. Therefore, your junk must be out for collection on the first scheduled day. Small, loose items will be picked up only if suitably placed in a wood, metal or other substantial container and the weight of the container and contents do not exceed 50 pounds. All containers with debris in them will be picked up and disposed of unless clearly marked 'Return Container'. By state law, doors on cabinets, appliances and refrigerators must be removed as a safety precaution. Boards, swings, monkey bars and similar items must be dismantled and cut to a maximum of 4 feet in length. In case you see the bulk pickup trucks in your section of town earlier than scheduled, please don't worry. They will be in the scheduled sections on the scheduled days; any days they show up are in addtion to. If time allows, they try to get an early start on sections. Unauthorized Scavenging or Scattering Please report any unauthorized scavenging, scattering of debris or unauthorized dropping off material to the Police Department at 908-464-1111.
